Effective Date: May 19, 2026
These Terms of Service and Conditions explain the rules for using russellrecoveryranch.com, submitting requests, making donations, communicating with the Ranch, and participating in Ranch-related activities.
By accessing this website, submitting a form, making a donation, scheduling a visit, volunteering, requesting community service participation, or participating in any Ranch activity, you agree to these Terms.
1. Legal Identity
The Russell Recovery Ranch is operated under the legal name THE RUSSELL RECOVERY RANCH, a Single Member Limited Liability Company (LLC).
In these Terms, “Russell Recovery Ranch,” “the Ranch,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to THE RUSSELL RECOVERY RANCH and its authorized owners, representatives, staff, volunteers, contractors, or agents where applicable.
2. Website Use
This website is provided for informational, scheduling, intake, donation, communication, and participation-request purposes. You agree to use the website lawfully and respectfully.
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized information
- Attempt to access private systems, dashboards, files, forms, or databases without permission
- Disrupt, damage, overload, scrape, spam, or interfere with the website or its services
- Use the website to harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, or harm another person
- Upload or submit malicious code, harmful files, or unlawful material
We may restrict, block, remove, or refuse access to the website or Ranch services if we believe the website is being misused or if the safety, privacy, or operations of the Ranch may be affected.
3. Informational Purpose Only
Content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this website should be understood as medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, court, probation, or professional advice.
Participation in Ranch activities is not a substitute for licensed medical care, therapy, legal representation, court supervision, probation requirements, emergency care, or professional treatment.
If you are experiencing an emergency, immediate crisis, medical emergency, or danger to yourself or others, call emergency services or contact a qualified professional.
4. Participation & Conduct
Ranch activities are appointment-based unless otherwise stated. Visitors, volunteers, community service participants, partners, guests, and other participants must follow Ranch rules, staff instructions, safety directions, and scheduling requirements.
All individuals participating in Ranch activities must:
- Follow all safety instructions provided before, during, and after participation
- Respect Ranch property, animals, tools, equipment, staff, volunteers, guests, and neighbors
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled activities
- Wear appropriate clothing, footwear, and protective gear when needed
- Use tools, equipment, gates, animal areas, and Ranch property only as instructed
- Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, intoxicated, threatening, abusive, or unlawful behavior
- Notify Ranch staff of any relevant limitations, safety concerns, allergies, or restrictions before participating
The Ranch reserves the right to remove, suspend, decline, or refuse participation to any person whose behavior may jeopardize safety, property integrity, animal welfare, Ranch operations, or the experience of others.
5. Court-Ordered Community Service
Community service participation is not automatically guaranteed. Requests may be reviewed before approval. The Ranch may require identification, court paperwork, agency details, deadlines, case information, emergency contact information, and other documentation before scheduling or verifying service hours.
Individuals completing court-ordered or agency-requested service are responsible for:
- Providing accurate identification, contact information, case details, and required documentation
- Confirming that the Ranch is acceptable to the court, agency, program, probation office, or supervising authority
- Meeting scheduling requirements and arriving on time
- Following Ranch rules, safety instructions, and supervision requirements
- Completing assigned work in a safe, respectful, and honest manner
- Requesting documentation or verification in advance when needed
Completion of hours is contingent upon actual attendance, acceptable conduct, compliance with Ranch policies, and completion of assigned work. The Ranch may refuse to verify hours that were not completed, were misrepresented, or were affected by misconduct, early departure, unsafe behavior, or failure to follow instructions.
The Ranch does not guarantee acceptance by any court, probation office, agency, program, attorney, school, or supervising authority. Participants are responsible for confirming requirements with the appropriate authority.
6. Assumption of Risk
Ranch activities may involve outdoor environments, animals, livestock, insects, plants, weather conditions, mud, dust, uneven terrain, fencing, gates, tools, equipment, physical labor, lifting, walking, bending, standing, and other normal ranch or agricultural conditions.
By participating, you acknowledge that Ranch activities carry inherent risks, including the possibility of property damage, personal injury, allergic reaction, illness, animal-related injury, slips, falls, cuts, bruises, heat exposure, and other risks associated with outdoor and agricultural settings.
Participants voluntarily assume all reasonable and inherent risks associated with Ranch participation, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Health, Safety & Fitness to Participate
Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically, mentally, and medically able to participate in Ranch activities. You should not participate in activities that exceed your ability, restrictions, medical limitations, or comfort level.
The Ranch may modify, limit, or deny participation where safety concerns exist. Participants may be asked to stop an activity if staff believe continued participation may create a risk to the participant, animals, property, staff, or others.
Alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, threats, violence, harassment, and unsafe conduct are prohibited on Ranch property and during Ranch-related activities unless otherwise permitted by law and expressly authorized where applicable.
8. Minors
Minors may only participate with appropriate permission from a parent, guardian, court, agency, school, or supervising authority where required. The Ranch may require a parent or guardian to be present or to sign additional forms before a minor participates.
Parents, guardians, and supervising adults are responsible for the conduct, safety, and supervision of minors unless a separate written arrangement has been approved.
9. Donations, Payments & Finality
Donations, contributions, sponsorships, support payments, and other payments made through this website or directly to the Ranch are voluntary unless connected to a separate written agreement.
Donations may be used at the discretion of The Russell Recovery Ranch to support Ranch operations, animal care, feed, supplies, facility needs, property maintenance, program development, community support, outreach, administrative expenses, equipment, staffing, improvements, and other Ranch-related or mission-related needs.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, donations and payments are final and generally non-refundable once submitted. The Ranch reserves the right to refuse, decline, return, or reject any donation, payment, sponsorship, or contribution at its discretion.
A receipt may be provided upon request for the donor’s records. Receipts confirm the amount received and do not guarantee any particular tax treatment. The Ranch may provide business tax information when reasonably necessary for receipts, sponsorship records, vendor records, payment records, or administrative purposes.
10. Tax Disclaimer
The Russell Recovery Ranch is listed as a Single Member Limited Liability Company and is not represented on this page as a tax-exempt nonprofit or 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Donations should not be assumed to be tax-deductible charitable contributions. Some donors, sponsors, businesses, or supporters may choose to discuss potential write-off treatment, business expense treatment, sponsorship treatment, or other tax handling with their own tax professional.
The Ranch does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Donors are responsible for consulting their own qualified tax professional before claiming any deduction, write-off, credit, expense, or tax benefit.
11. Scheduling, Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Ranch visits, volunteer work, community service, tours, appointments, and other activities may require advance scheduling and approval. Submitting a form does not guarantee approval, availability, participation, or a confirmed appointment.
Participants should notify the Ranch as soon as possible if they need to cancel, reschedule, or cannot attend. Repeated missed appointments, late arrivals, lack of communication, or failure to follow scheduling instructions may result in denial of future participation.
The Ranch may cancel, delay, modify, or reschedule activities due to weather, animal care needs, safety issues, staffing, property conditions, emergencies, operational needs, or other circumstances.
12. Media, Photography & Testimonials
The Ranch may capture photographs, video, audio, written feedback, testimonials, or other media for educational, informational, documentation, safety, training, fundraising, or promotional purposes.
Individuals who do not wish to appear in public-facing media should notify Ranch staff in writing before participation. The Ranch will make reasonable efforts to respect such requests but cannot guarantee removal from all incidental background images or already-published materials.
By submitting feedback, reviews, comments, testimonials, photos, videos, or other content to the Ranch, you grant the Ranch permission to review, store, edit for clarity, and use that content for Ranch-related purposes unless you clearly state otherwise in writing.
13. Privacy & Submitted Information
When you submit forms through this website, you may provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, request type, appointment details, volunteer interests, community service information, court or agency details, feedback, or other personal information.
The Ranch may use submitted information to respond to requests, schedule activities, review eligibility, maintain records, provide receipts, verify participation, improve operations, and communicate with you.
The Ranch does not intend to sell personal information submitted through the website. However, information may be shared when necessary with authorized Ranch personnel, service providers, payment processors, courts, agencies, supervising authorities, professional advisors, or as required by law.
No website, email, form, or online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
14. Third-Party Services & Links
This website may link to or use third-party services, including payment processors, donation platforms, map providers, email tools, analytics tools, scheduling tools, social media platforms, or embedded content.
Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, fees, processing rules, and security practices. The Ranch is not responsible for third-party websites, outages, errors, processing delays, fees, or content.
15. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, copy, layout, images, graphics, logos, branding, design elements, program language, and Ranch materials are owned by or licensed to Russell Recovery Ranch.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, scrape, republish, or use Ranch materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
16. No Guarantee of Results
The Ranch may provide a structured, supportive, educational, outdoor, volunteer, or service-oriented environment, but we do not guarantee any specific personal, legal, emotional, financial, spiritual, medical, therapeutic, court, probation, employment, recovery, or life outcome.
Any personal progress, program benefit, community service acceptance, feedback, or other result depends on many factors outside the Ranch’s control.
17. Right to Refuse Service, Participation, or Donations
The Ranch reserves the right to refuse, deny, suspend, terminate, or limit website access, communication, appointments, participation, community service opportunities, volunteer opportunities, donations, payments, sponsorships, or other involvement at its discretion.
This may include situations involving safety concerns, misconduct, incomplete information, false information, scheduling issues, operational limitations, harassment, threats, intoxication, repeated no-shows, animal welfare concerns, property concerns, legal concerns, or other circumstances affecting the Ranch.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Russell Recovery Ranch shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from website use, form submissions, communication, donations, scheduling, Ranch participation, community service participation, volunteer activities, or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law. Some rights may vary depending on applicable law.
19. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Russell Recovery Ranch from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, unsafe conduct, false information, unauthorized actions, or participation in Ranch activities, except where prohibited by law.
20. Accessibility & Accommodation Requests
The Ranch aims to communicate clearly and reasonably accommodate participation when possible. Because Ranch activities may involve outdoor terrain, animals, tools, and physical tasks, not every activity may be suitable for every person.
Participants who need accommodations or have physical, medical, mobility, communication, or other limitations should contact the Ranch before scheduling or participating so available options can be reviewed.
21. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms, website use, donations, services, participation, or Ranch-related activities shall be handled in the appropriate courts or legal forums available under Tennessee law, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
22. Changes to These Terms
Russell Recovery Ranch may update, revise, replace, or modify these Terms at any time. The effective date may be updated when changes are made.
Continued use of the website, submission of forms, donations, communication with the Ranch, or participation after changes are posted indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
