Legal identity and agreement
Russell Recovery Ranch is operated by THE RUSSELL RECOVERY RANCH LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. In these Terms, “Russell Recovery Ranch,” “the Ranch,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the company and its authorized representatives where applicable.
By using this website, submitting information, making a payment or gift, scheduling or attending a visit, volunteering, requesting community service, or participating in Ranch-related activity, you agree to these Terms.
Website use
The website is provided for information, communication, inquiry, scheduling, community-service review, giving, and participation-request purposes. Use it lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not submit false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized information.
- Do not attempt to access private systems, dashboards, files, forms, or databases without permission.
- Do not disrupt, overload, scrape, spam, damage, or interfere with the website or its services.
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, upload malicious material, or use the website unlawfully.
Information, not professional advice
Website content is general information. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, court, probation, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Ranch activities do not replace licensed care, therapy, legal representation, court supervision, emergency services, or professional treatment.
For an emergency, immediate crisis, medical emergency, or danger to yourself or others, call emergency services or contact an appropriate qualified professional.
Appointments, participation, and conduct
Ranch activities are appointment-based unless the Ranch states otherwise. A submitted form, email, call, or conversation does not create an appointment, approval, quote, placement, or promise of availability.
Visitors and participants must follow scheduling requirements, Ranch rules, staff instructions, safety directions, property boundaries, and animal-welfare guidance. The Ranch may stop or refuse participation when conduct, safety, privacy, property, animal welfare, staffing, weather, or operations are affected.
- Arrive on time and prepared with suitable clothing, footwear, paperwork, and protective equipment when required.
- Use tools, equipment, gates, work areas, and animal spaces only as directed.
- Respect animals, property, staff, volunteers, guests, neighbors, and other participants.
- Do not participate while intoxicated or engage in threatening, abusive, unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful conduct.
Community service
Community-service participation is not guaranteed. The participant must first confirm that the Ranch is acceptable to the relevant court, county, program, school, probation office, agency, attorney, or supervising authority.
The Ranch may request identification, reliable contact information, required hours, deadlines, referring-party details, case references, paperwork, restrictions, and documentation requirements before reviewing or scheduling service.
Hours are verified only for actual attendance and acceptable work. The Ranch may refuse verification for hours not completed, misrepresented time, unsafe behavior, misconduct, early departure, repeated lateness, or failure to follow instructions. The Ranch does not guarantee that any outside authority will accept the location or documentation.
Health, safety, minors, and accommodations
The Ranch may modify, limit, pause, or deny activity where a safety or fitness concern exists. Weapons, illegal drugs, violence, threats, harassment, and unsafe conduct are prohibited unless otherwise permitted by law and expressly authorized where applicable.
Minors require appropriate permission and supervision from a parent, guardian, court, school, agency, program, or supervising authority where required. The Ranch may require a parent or guardian to attend or sign additional forms.
Contact the Ranch before scheduling if an accommodation or physical, medical, mobility, communication, or other limitation should be reviewed. Outdoor terrain, animals, tools, and work mean not every activity will fit every person.
Giving, payments, receipts, and taxes
Gifts, contributions, sponsorships, service payments, and other payments are voluntary unless connected to a separate written agreement. Financial gifts may be used for any mission-aligned Ranch purpose, including operations, people, animal care, feed, supplies, facilities, maintenance, equipment, staffing, outreach, administration, community support, and current urgent needs.
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, gifts and payments are final and generally non-refundable. The Ranch may decline, return, or refuse a payment or gift. Receipts may be available upon request and confirm the amount received, not any particular tax treatment.
The Ranch is not represented here as a tax-exempt nonprofit or 501(c)(3). Do not assume that a gift is tax-deductible. The Ranch does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice; consult your own qualified professional.
Scheduling and cancellations
Visits, community service, volunteer work, tours, appointments, and other activities may require advance review and written confirmation. Notify the Ranch promptly if you must cancel, reschedule, or cannot attend. Repeated missed appointments, late arrival, or lack of communication may affect future participation.
The Ranch may delay, modify, cancel, or reschedule activity because of weather, animal-care needs, safety, staffing, property conditions, emergencies, operations, or other circumstances.
Photography, media, feedback, and submitted content
The Ranch may create or receive photography, video, audio, written feedback, testimonials, or other media for documentation, education, safety, training, fundraising, or promotion. Tell the Ranch in writing before participation if you do not want to appear in public-facing media. Reasonable efforts will be made, but incidental background images or already-published material may not always be removable.
When you submit reviews, comments, testimonials, photos, videos, stories, or other content, you allow the Ranch to review, store, organize, and edit it for clarity and use it for Ranch-related purposes unless you clearly state otherwise in writing.
Privacy and submitted information
The Ranch may use information submitted through forms, email, phone, payment tools, or direct communication to review requests, respond, schedule, maintain records, verify participation, provide receipts, protect operations, and communicate with you.
The Ranch does not intend to sell personal information submitted through the website. Information may be shared with authorized Ranch personnel, necessary service providers, payment processors, courts, agencies, supervising authorities, professional advisors, or others when you direct it or when law, safety, documentation, or operations require it. Do not submit sensitive information unless it is necessary.
Third-party services and links
The website may use or link to third-party hosting, email, reCAPTCHA, Venmo, maps, analytics, social media, embedded media, scheduling, or other services. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, fees, and availability. The Ranch is not responsible for third-party content, outages, processing delays, or security practices.
Ranch content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Ranch website copy, layouts, branding, images, graphics, logos, videos, program language, and materials are owned by or licensed to the Ranch. Do not copy, scrape, reproduce, modify, sell, republish, distribute, or commercially use them without written permission.
No guarantee and right to refuse
The Ranch does not guarantee a personal, legal, court, probation, employment, financial, spiritual, therapeutic, recovery, educational, or other outcome. Results depend on many factors outside the Ranch’s control.
The Ranch may refuse, limit, suspend, or end website access, communication, appointments, participation, community service, volunteer activity, payments, gifts, or other involvement because of safety, misconduct, incomplete or false information, no-shows, operational limits, animal welfare, property concerns, harassment, threats, legal concerns, or other legitimate circumstances.
Liability and indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Ranch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from website use, communication, submissions, payments, gifts, scheduling, Ranch participation, community service, volunteer work, or third-party services. Nothing limits liability where law prohibits that limitation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to hold the Ranch harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your website misuse, false information, unsafe conduct, unauthorized actions, or violation of these Terms, except where prohibited by law.
Tennessee law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by Tennessee law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled in the appropriate Tennessee court or legal forum unless law requires otherwise.
The Ranch may update these Terms. Continued website use, communication, submission, payment, giving, or participation after changes are posted indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
