Meet the animals

Respect first

Connection may growwhen the animal sets the pace.

Their comfort, boundaries, health, and daily care come first. Any interaction depends on the animal, the day, and team guidance.

The animal story

Shannon shares how the Ranch’s animal story began.

Many animals came through rescue or retirement paths, while others arrived differently. Not every animal at the Ranch is a rescue.

This recorded message shares Shannon’s vision. The Ranch team confirms current details and next steps.

My story

Before coming to the Ranch, Elvira pulled a school wagon in an Amish community, taking children to and from school. That chapter is part of her story; here, we’re getting to know the spirited miniature horse behind it.

Personality and favorite things

Elvira is known for her wonderfully wild hair and unmistakably sassy attitude. She may be small, but she has a big presence and plenty of opinions! Her tousled mane and lively character make her a memorable member of the Ranch family.

Life at the Ranch

We love Elvira’s character and respect her boundaries, giving her room to be herself. Her story reminds us that every animal brings a different history and personality to the Ranch—and that getting to know them begins with paying attention.
